Our Q2 Trend Report explores consumer spending trends over the past three months - with a deep dive into new product performance, packaged beverages, and energy drinks.

A few highlights:

  • Weekly in-store revenue is up 0.6% compared to Q2 2021, however weekly in-store transactions are down 2.6%
  • For in-store merchandise, the average price of market baskets is up 3.3%, despite the fact that merchandise prices are up anywhere between 5% and 20% vs. YA, depending on the category
  • Pack bev sales shrunk 0.6% compared to Q2 2021, while energy drink unit sales declined 3%
