What it Means to be a Glassdoor “Best Place to Work in 2020”

In case you haven’t seen the news, Skupos recently announced that we were nominated by our employees as a Best Place to Work in 2020 on Glassdoor. We are more than a little excited that our employees are as thrilled about us as we are about them.
How do nominations work?
If you are unfamiliar, unlike other awards, there is no self-nomination or application process, instead it’s entirely based on the feedback our employees have voluntarily and anonymously shared on Glassdoor. To determine the winners of the awards, Glassdoor evaluates all company reviews shared by employees over the past year. This year, we are proud to be recognized as a Best Place to Work among U.S. companies with fewer than 1,000 employees.
What is it like to work at Skupos?
Below are just a few words employees shared on Glassdoor that contributed toward the award and make us feel incredibly honored:
Integration Specialist, Customer Experience
“ If you want to be apart of a company that is changing the c-store industry and a place where you can truly be yourself then this is the company for you! ”
Data Operations, Engineering
“ Amazing company with passionate, forward thinking people ”
Regional Sales Manager, Sales
“ Supportive leadership that you can believe in. Honest and trusting. Company collaboration is what makes this company so successful. Your voice is heard and given autonomy to make progressional decisions. ”
Lead DevOps Engineer, Engineering
“ Excellent workplace for career growth as well as personal life balance. Company heads & leads understand and care for their employees like family members. ”
A word from our VP of People, Place and Culture
“It’s great to hear we’re headed in the right direction,” says Julie Boardman, VP People, Place, & Culture. “We’ve grown our team 230% this year. We’ve been intentional about finding, engaging, and growing incredible talent who’s passionate about achieving bold results, building team trust and health, and growing skills. Winning an award isn’t our end game but the feedback does help us learn. We’re excited to continue building a thriving and sustainable business we can all be proud of. A huge thank you goes out to our Skupos ‘skuad’ who took the time to share their perspective on what it’s like to work here.“
